Be sure to check the weather for the date you are planning your outdoor photo shoot. If inclement weather causes your outdoor session to be cancelled, Captured by the Lens Photography will always make every attempt possible to reschedule your session on the earliest available date. There are no rescheduling fees.

THE BEST OUTDOOR SESSION TIMES are early morning or late afternoon (and into early evening). Sunrise during the summer months is usually around Six and sunset is closer to Eight.

When planning your session time, keep in mind that mid-day lighting is too direct and casts harsh shadows. If your schedule requires a mid-day session we make that work! Planning for a location that offers shade from surrounding trees or buildings offers great solutions that will capture the natural outdoor light yet protect you from the harshness of the mid-day sun.
